An Art Show of Repurposed Expression

hosted by: The Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Beach

The Scratched art show is collaboration by five regions of California Boys and Girls Clubs to create an art exhibit for the Summer 2008 Element Youth Movement CoOp Tour. Students, parents, and staff brought in to their local clubs scratched and otherwise worthless CD's for students to repurpose as art. The show is an opportunity to transcend the walls of individual clubs and allow the kids to be inspired by the diversity of art by young artists across the state. The Collective Sound Summer Music Academy will perform at the show showcasing their original songs that the students wrote and recorded at camp this summer.
